How Payments Work with Resconor AS

Payment Process:

Customers make prepayments for electricity consumption in the property using Stripe, the secure payment platform seamlessly integrated into the system. This prepayment acts as a credit balance to cover the electricity costs incurred by customers.

Hourly balance updates:

Automatic hourly updates are generated as the system retrieves electricity prices for the next day from Nordpool. Based on these rates, the system calculates hourly consumption costs and deducts them from the customers' prepayment held in your Stripe holding account, ensuring accurate tracking and deduction of usage charges.

Customer Balance Monitoring:

As customers reach the prepayment threshold, the system proactively manages the balance by shutting off non-critical appliances in the home. When the customer balance hits 0 or in the event of a move-out, any remaining amount is transferred back to the customer's account, while the incurred electricity costs are transferred to you.

Money Transfer Process:

Upon customer balance reaching 0 or tenant move-out, you receive the utilized balance directly into your bank account within 7 business days from Stripe. This direct payment workflow streamlines your financial management and guarantees prompt compensation for electricity consumption in your rental properties, ensuring a seamless and efficient payment process.
